Hike through the estate towards the first Minoan stone-carved winepresses located amongst ancient oaks in an environment of incredible natural beauty. Change direction towards the chapel of Agios Antonios with elements of Venetian architecture, carved graves on the south side and ruins that testify to the existence of a Monastery and Orphanage that operated there before the Revolution of 1866. Walk through the rich flora of the Cretan land towards the another Minoan stone-carved winepress of impressive size and conclude the walk in the 12th-century church of Panagia Kardiotissa, with the ancient oak trees, the old stone bridge, the watermill and the fragments of the frescoes that provide evidence that the original building dated further back to the 10th century.
