Seed rescue is an environmental educational program aimed at understanding the seed life circle, the variety of seeds (color, size, shape), the association of seeds with our diet, the importance of preserving varieties, but also the importance of eating seasonally. Through a range of activities and games, children familiarize themselves with day-to-day work in an orchard, learn about seeds and about planting seasonal vegetables, touch the earth, smell the soil, and ultimately enhance their environmental consciousness.
The program is addressed to nursery school children, pupils of all grades in Primary and Secondary Schools.
